The annual art festival of the university was held on April 26th. This year’s theme, “Viva La Vida,” translates to “simply live life” in English.

The event began with a welcome speech by Founder Yonggyu Lee, followed by a tambourine performance by female students. The YWAM (Youth With A Mission) team from Taylor University in Texas, visiting for a short-term at Jakarta International University (JIU), presented a musical drama related to faith life. The JIU male choir also performed “You Raise Me Up” and “Edelweiss.” In the later part of the event, attendees were given gifts through a Door Prize draw. Finally, the festival committee wrapped up the event by singing together with the participants.

We encourage the students who showcased their talents despite their busy schedules. Like the theme of this event, we hope that JIU students will lead a life of simple faith.
